HydroAxe Saildrive Rope Cutters

HydroAxe Saildrive Rope Cutters require no alteration to an existing or new propeller, before installation. The HydroAxe Saildrive rope cutter has both a fixed and rotating cutter, to help prevent fouling of your propeller. The HydroAxe Rope Cutter designed for Volvo Penta and Yanmar Saildrives will protect propellers from rope, nets, weed and other debris, fouling the propeller and potentially causing expensive damage to your Saildrive and/or propeller.

The advanced locking system used on the HydroAxe ensures that no modifications are needed to your propeller no matter what propeller type is fitted! The HydroAxe is compatible with low drag and fixed propellers including Volvo Penta fixed and folding propellers, FeatherStream propellers, Flexofold, Kiwi propellers, Bruntons Autoprop, Bruntons Varifold propellers, Gori, fixed propellers, Radice Propellers and Max-Prop Classic propellers. Fitment is simple with no specialist tools needed for installation.

The HydroAxe SailDrive Rope cutter is currently available for Volvo Penta 120S Saildrive/ MS25 Saildrive/ 130S Saildrive/ 150S Saildrive models, ZF SD15 Saildrive/ZF SPPSB80 Saildrive, Yanmar SD20 Saildrive/SD25 Saildrive/SD31 Saildrive/SD40 Saildrive/SD50 Saildrive/SD60 Saildrive and Seaprop 60 Saildrive models.
