The AIS700 from Raymarine is a Class B Automatic Identification System (AIS) transceiver designed for use with Raymarine multifunction navigation display systems. As a Class B AIS transceiver, the AIS700 receives broadcasts from other vessels and transmits your own boat’s information, helping you to be seen on other vessels’ systems. This AIS is easy to install and connect to your existing system. It provides information on other vessels around you including their heading and speed. This information can be displayed on your multifunction display or via an instrument such as an I70S display. (I70S not included)
