Terms of Service - Delivery

We endeavour to despatch most items on the day they were placed by Royal Mail, FedEx or DHL courier.
The cut-off time for DHL/ FedEx collection is approximately 2 pm on weekdays and 3.30 pm for Royal Mail. If you require a special or timed delivery, contact us on 01326 370060. to discuss the options available to you. Please understand, that we have no control over adverse weather, a cancelled collection/ delivery by any method chosen or Bank holiday disruptions. DHL/FedEx and some Royal Mail items will need to be signed for, and tracking information when available will be provided. Some larger items may require us to order the parts from Volvo Penta or Yanmar central stores. This can take up to 24 hours or in some rare circumstances, longer. Any indicated delivery time shown for any item is a guide and should not be relied on. We stock over £150,000 of Volvo Penta and Yanmar parts, so most advertised items are available quickly. All our stock is genuine, stored inside a clean dry facility and backed up with technical help, if required.  We are the main dealers of Volvo Penta, Yanmar, Mariner/ Mercury and Mercruiser.

Your Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract without giving any reason within 14 days of the day following the date on which you receive the goods. MDI units and special order folding and fixed propellers are excluded from this provision. Any VOR (A vehicle off-road, special request for urgent delivery items such as fixed sterndrive and fixed/ folding propellers) are also excluded and will be subject to a restocking return charge of 25% of the retail value, plus the return carriage. 
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us at Falmouth Yacht Brokers Ltd, Freemans Wharf, Falmouth Road, Penryn, Cornwall, TR10 8AD, Tel: 01326 370060, Email: of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse you, all payments received from you, (minus a re-stocking charge of 25%, if it concerns any propeller), excluding the costs of delivery and return carriage to FYB.
We may deduct from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied if the loss results from unnecessary handling or damage by yourself. Please note that if you wish to return unwanted goods, you will do so at your own expense. Products must be returned in their packaging and unused.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:
(a) 7 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
(c) if no goods were supplied, 14 days after the day we were informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction. Subject to the potential applicability of any deductions we are legally entitled to make, you will receive a full refund.
