Volvo Penta 10-micron fuel filter insert, part number 24360739 for the Racor 900 series and Volvo Penta fuel and water separator. A fuel water separator is installed between the fuel tank and the engine, to protect the fuel system from water and contamination such as diesel bugs.

Spare fuel filter inserts should always be carried as spares in case the pre-filter blocks, preventing fuel from entering the engine fuel system. At least two spare filters should be carried at all times.
