Note: The ready-mixed amount of coolant required if replacing, not including any calorifier fitted, for a Volvo Penta D2-50 is 9.5 litres, either of green or yellow type VCS coolant. Never mix or replace green with VCS yellow coolant. It will gel if mixed. Green coolant should be changed every 2 years or 4 years if using VCS yellow coolant.
