Volvo Penta MDI start-stop panel for EVC diesel engines including D1 and D2 series. We have seen some evidence of the button panel causing the MDI to fail. This can be caused by the buttons becoming stuck in or exposed to excessive moisture. If in doubt, we recommend that you change the button panel and MDI at the same time.

This MDI EVC panel has the following buttons, Start, Stop, On/ Off and Alarm.

For Volvo Penta diesel engines: D1-13, D1-20, D1-30, D2-40, D2-50F, D2-55, D2-60F, D2-75 fitted with an MDI EVC button panel.
