The D2-60 range of Volvo Penta diesel engines was built from 2014 to the present day. The Volvo Penta D2-60 is a 4-cylinder, freshwater-cooled, efficient diesel engine. The D2-60 series meets BSO, EU RCD Stage II, US. EPA Tier 3 emissions.
We can supply all parts for the Volvo Penta D2-60 diesel, including a range of D2-60 series spare parts, oil filters and fuel filters, drive belts and impellers, genuine D2-60 series exhaust elbows, oils and grease. We are also the main Volvo Penta dealers. The D2-60 is available with a straight or angled gearbox or a 150S saildrive.
On any Volvo D2-60, clean out the heat exchanger every 5 years, replacing the O-rings. Check the exhaust elbow to prevent a build-up of carbon and rust in the outer chamber. If in doubt, replace the exhaust elbow every 5 to 10 years as a guide.

Volvo Penta Coolant VCS-2 (orange) is the next generation of VCS and contains new inhibitors that are adapted to the materials used in modern engines. VCS-2 (orange) offers improved protection against corrosion and the build-up of deposits. This new version further helps protect the environment and helps counteract cavitations and galvanic corrosion. The change interval is 4 years for VCS-2 and the product can be safely mixed with the outgoing VCS yellow coolant.
