Volvo Penta D4 Exhaust Elbow, Part Number 22948832.
This is the exhaust elbow or water injection elbow. Exhaust elbows are a common cause of overheating and poor exhaust flow of water into the exhaust.
This new genuine replacement exhaust elbow has an extra port for a temperature sensor. If your D4 doesn't use a temperature sender wire, then part numbers 960630 (screw) and 969011 (copper gasket) are required.
The exhaust on a D4 should be checked at least every 5 years by removing it and checking for carbon build-up and corrosion.

See 21325765 for the exhaust clamp, part number 21450768 for the replacement water connectors and 969415 for the joining O-rings. To blank off the plug, 960630 (screw) and 969011 (copper gasket) are required.
