Volvo Penta D4 sump Part Number 3582685
Generally, sumps are never an issue unless they have come into contact with salt water. We have seen pin holing on some D4, D6 and KAD series, but only due to corrosion. The sump does not use a gasket, but installation requires a sealant, part number 22618327.
