Volvo Penta diesel fuel filters are made to exacting standards specified by Volvo Penta to withstand the harsh saltwater environment in which Volvo marine diesel engines operate.
Genuine Volvo Penta fuel filters use special multi-layered filter media to ensure the filter performs to specification. Non-OEM filters never meet or exceed the quality of a Volvo Penta genuine filter. They are always inferior and in some cases dangerous, often corroding causing a loss of oil of fuel out at sea.
