Volvo Penta propeller B6 Duoprop rear propeller, Part Number 854835
This is a B6 series rear Duoprop propeller for the DP drives up to DP-E, 290-DP and 280-DP Sterndrives.
Type B propellers (front and rear) are sold individually as spare parts. Type J propellers should be used if you require a set.
When going from B series to J series, add one number - IE B3 converts to J4
If your existing set is badly pitted, or bent or the bushing is worn, then it's time to consider changing your props before they fail. A bent prop causes vibration risking water entering the lower gear case, through the drive shaft prop seals.
Genuine Volvo Penta propellers are covered by our standard 12-month warranty. Have them supplied and installed by us or another authorised dealer, and we’ll extend your warranty to 24 months.
B series is the type for a 280/ 290 DP Sterndrive, and 6 is the size of the Duoprop. The existing size should be stamped into your existing props. If you need help sizing the correct size for your boat, please contact us first.
Please note: Do not mix Type A, B and J propellers. Always use propellers of the same type and size on the drive (or on both drives on twin installations).
