The stainless sailboat control was developed to easily upgrade from older installations to a solid, 316 stainless steel throttle control. This means that the control lever can be mounted directly onto an existing Volvo Penta control mechanism.

If you have a previous model of Volvo Penta's sailboat control, you can easily upgrade to a new lever and a cover plate in stainless steel. This is the larger cover plate, measuring 107 x 166mm. A handle and possibly a new mechanism, if worn out may be required.
