This genuine Yanmar zinc anode measures approximately 32 mm x 12 mm in diameter.
Some of the Yanmar engines listed below require up to five zinc anodes to be changed yearly, and some versions use four anodes (119574-44150). Some of the Yanmar 4LH series of engines, i.e., the TE, HTE and DTE, do not use anodes at all.
Due to the expensive castings they protect, we recommend never using cheap aftermarket anodes to protect Yanmar heat exchangers and intercooler units from corrosion.
