We support the Volvo Penta 120S-E Saildrive with genuine spare parts, Volvo Penta anodes, oil, and seals plus Saildrive paint to protect the 120S-E Saildrive from corrosion. Always fit genuine anodes to your 120S Saildrive to protect it from corrosion. Volvo Penta 120S anodes are made to exact specifications to protect the Saildrive.
Aluminium anodes should be used in brackish and saltwater. A Magnesium version should be used for freshwater. Anodes should not be mixed on any installation and should be inspected as often as possible, especially if the boat is in a marina environment with shore power around. If the anode is worn by more than a third, it will need to be changed, due to its surface area being reduced.
A Volvo Penta 120S-E differs from other variants as it uses Volvo Penta Synthetic Transmission Oil, SAE 75W-90 and not engine oil. Always use genuine Volvo Penta 120S anodes to ensure maximum protection on a 120S-E Saildrive. We also supply Volvo Penta 120S Saildrive fixed and folding propellers and the HydroAxe rope cutter, which can be installed on any fixed or folding propeller without alteration. This is a genuine tab lock washer for all Volvo Penta folding propellers on a Saildrive hub kit. Volvo Penta Part Number 3851994. This is the lock washer where the tabs are bent to secure the hub bolt.
