Volvo Penta Cone Anode for 30mm propeller shaft using a 3/4inch UNC thread. Imperial thread for older prop shafts

Please note this is a Zinc anode for saltwater use. A Magnesium version should be used in freshwater. An Aluminium version for saltwater and brackish water will be available in 2022. Anodes should not be mixed on any installation.

If your anode is worn away by 33% or more, it is advisable to change it as more of its surface area has been worn away and the remaining anode will wear away much quicker.

The anode protects the shaft and propeller from corrosion due to electrical currents in the water.
