Volvo Penta Stainless Sailboat throttle control lever for the 107 x 166mm cover plate.
If you have a previous model of Volvo Penta's sailboat control, you can easily upgrade to a new lever. If the existing control mechanism is in good condition, it does not need to be replaced. Different upgrade options are available depending on the size of your current cover plate. The stainless sailboat control was developed to easily upgrade from older installations to a stainless steel throttle lever control.
This is for the stainless cover plate measuring 107 x 166. A new mechanism is part number 851601 if your backplate is stainless and 11440095 if the backplate is black plastic.

An electronic neutral safety switch is available as an option. A manual neutral switch is included on all throttle control mechanisms.

If the cover plate is plastic, the mechanism required behind the unit is part number 1140095.
The stainless backplate is part number 22167713.
If you keep the current control mechanism, minor modifications will be needed in order to fit the new stainless steel cover plate (details are provided in the installation instructions).
