Volvo Penta Active Corrosion Protection System.
This is a stand alone system designed for sterndrives and outboards in general. It has a lower capacity than the EVC integrated systems and complements the standard sacrificial anodes rather than replacing those. It is not recommended for DPH/DPI drives or larger outboards. The ACP-S is designed to protect one sterndrive or outboard, and an additional kit is required for installation on a twin engine boat.
Requirements:
Fiberglass hulls used in salt water
12 V Electrical System: The system comes complete with wiring and detailed installation instructions. Standard tools, a drill and suitable underwater sealant are all that is required for most installations.
