The Volvo Penta fixed 2-blade Saildrive propellers are designed specifically for a Saildrive. They are made from high-quality, durable aluminium alloy and epoxy coated to resist corrosion.
Every fixed 2-blade Saildrive propeller is fitted with an improved shock-absorbing rubber bush to prevent Saildrive corrosion and to protect the gearbox when going from forward to reverse.
If you are replacing your old fixed Saildrive propeller for a new one, you will also need to replace the cone kit, as the new version has been redesigned and does not use a plastic space washer.
Any Volvo Penta fixed 2 blade propeller should be removed each year and re-greased using part number 828250, to prevent the prop from becoming stuck to the shaft.Volvo Penta Part Number: 23478916.

Genuine 2 and 3 bladed fixed propeller cone kit for a Volvo Penta Saildrive using a new style (current) fixed prop that doesn't now use a plastic washer. This kit contains the cone and bolt for the current style propeller. You cannot use an old-style cone that uses a plastic washer with the current propeller design.
