Saildrive propellers are available as fixed props or folding propellers. A feathering prop should not be used on a Saildrive. Folding propellers provide a reduced drag of approximately 1.5 - 1.7 knots when sailing. This can reduce a Chanel crossing by up to 7 hours and make weekend cruising a lot quicker and exciting. Folding props don't drag your Saildrive gearbox around either.
