Volvo Penta Saildrive Series 4 Blade Hub Aluminium Anode Kit, Part Number 23974205

Volvo Penta aluminium anode kit for 4-blade folding propeller hub on a Saildrive or shaft.

Aluminium is now the preferred anode material in salt water.

The hub anode needs to be changed every year to protect the folding propeller from corrosion, especially if the yacht is kept in a marina.

If your anode is worn away by 33% or more, it is advisable to change it as more of its surface area has been worn away and the remaining anode will wear away much quicker.
