Note: The ready-mixed amount of coolant required if replacing, not including any calorifier fitted, for a Volvo Penta D4 is 12.5 litres, either of green or yellow type VCS coolant. Never mix or replace green with VCS yellow coolant. It will gel if mixed. Green coolant should be changed every 2 years or 4 years if using VCS yellow coolant.
