GS-CP Canvas pole mount for Gullsweep used on speedboats and covers.
It is important that the canvas is taught so the pole does not fall to one side or the other and the wind will not get under the cover. Check to see that the Gullsweep arms are parallel to the water and that the vanes will not touch the surface and wear the canvas.
Notes:
If the GS-CP hole is too tight you can cut a slot in the open end with a hack saw. This will allow it to expand slightly. Cut a little at a time until it fits securely.
If the GS-CP is too loose on the support pole, use tape or a rubber band to build up the pin diameter.
Adjust the pole height to have some tension on the cover. Loose poles may get picked up by the wind and the bottom moved out of position.
