Volvo Penta DP-E Sterndrive. We supply all parts for the DP-E sterndrive. The service and spares parts list includes sterndrive prop removal tools, anodes, drive and exhaust bellows, hoses, oils, shaft grease and shaft seals. Sterndrives use different types of gear oils, dependant on the sterndrive type. See the individual sterndrive sections or our downloads section for more information.
It is important to use genuine anodes on a Volvo DP-E Sterndrive. Volvo Penta anodes and made to exact specifications to protect the Sterndrive from corrosion. We have seen evidence of counterfeit anodes and this can lead to a total loss of the Sterndrive from corrosion.
Replacement Volvo Penta sterndrive propellers including J type Duoprop, A Type, B Type and G series props for DPH are available from us within this site. DP-E Sterndrives use either A type, B type, new J type or C type stainless propellers.

Volvo Penta DP-E Sterndrives should be serviced at the end of every season to ensure the oil is not emulsified, indicating that the shaft seals require changing. Water intake hoses should also be checked for condition. See our downloads section from the left-hand menu to download a list of oils for each Sterndrive type.
The DP-C, DP-D, DP-E Sterndrive service kit contains the zinc drive and transom anodes, the UJ drive gaiter and jubilee clips required for an annual drive service. Please note the exhaust gaiter is not included in this kit
DP-E and 290 DP, prop removal tool. This prop wrench removes the 20mm forward nut on A, B, C and J Duo-Prop Sterndrives with M20 Threads. This special tool helps you remove the forward propeller nut.
The top bellow including Jubilee clips for DP Sterndrives including 280, 290, DP-A, DP-D and DP-E outdrives. These kits include the Jubilee clips. Exhaust bellows should be inspected regularly and changed every 1-2 years.
