Volvo Penta 130S Series M
We support the Volvo Penta 130S Saildrives with genuine spare parts, Volvo anodes, oil, and seals plus Saildrive paint to protect the 130S Saildrive from corrosion. Always fit genuine anodes to your 130S Saildrive to protect it from corrosion. Volvo Penta 130S anodes are made to exact specifications to protect the Saildrive.
Aluminium anodes should be used in brackish or saltwater use. A Magnesium version should be used for freshwater. Anodes should not be mixed on any installation and should be inspected as often as possible, especially if the boat is in a marina environment with shore power around. If the anode is worn by more than a third, it will need to be changed, due to its surface area being reduced.
Most 130S Saildrives use VDS 4.5 engine oil. We also supply Volvo Penta 130S Saildrive fixed and folding propellers and the HydroAxe rope cutter which requires no propeller alteration. We can also help you with sizing a replacement propeller if required.
Oil capacity: Approximately 3.3 litres of VDS 4.5 oil.
