We have seen some evidence of the button panel causing the MDI to fail. This can be caused by the buttons becoming stuck in or exposed to excessive moisture. If in doubt, we recommend that you change the button panel and MDI at the same time.
Some D Series compact yacht engines under 75 HP form part of a recall campaign, paid for by Volvo Penta. Please check with your local dealer or call us for more information. Please have your long serial number to hand before calling. It can be located on a sticker on the top of the engine near the heat exchanger.
