4 Blade Folding Blade Kits for Folding Propellers M
We stock Volvo Penta 4 blade, blade kits made from a special nickel-bronze-aluminium alloy, referred to as Nibral. Genuine Volvo Penta propeller blade kits fit onto the hub kit to complete the folding prop. Every Volvo Penta prop is designed specifically to perform, for safety and to resist corrosion. A folding prop can increase performance by up to 1.5 knots whilst under sail.
The Volvo Penta folding propeller comes in 2 parts. First, choose the correct hub kit for your shaft or Saildrive, and secondly choose the correct blade kit for your yachts length, displacement engine and gearbox ratio.
The correct propeller is vital to get the most out of your engine and boat. The power range for the 4-blade propeller is 55-120 HP and it is available in 8 variants, either left hand or right-handed with different pitches.

Please note all Volvo Penta propellers are folding propellers. It is not recommended by Volvo Penta to install a feathering type propeller onto any Saildrive installation.
